Dr. Tomas Velasco joined the School of Applied Engineering & Technology as an Assistant Professor in the fall of 1993. He received a professional degree in Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, a M.S. in Manufacturing and a M.B.A., both from Pittsburg State University, and a Ph.D in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arkansas.

Dr. Velasco is the Director of the School of Applied Engineering and Technology, and he is also the Director of Graduate Studies.
