Soo Jeong Lee

Soo Jeong Lee is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She earned her Ph.D. in Economics from Michigan State University and holds an M.A. and B.S. in Economics from Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea. Her primary research interests are in econometrics and the economics of education, with a focus on developing causal inference methods and applying them to education policy. Prior to her doctoral studies, she worked at the Korea Technology Finance Corporation, a government-affiliated firm, where she supported innovative tech startups through credit guarantees and consulting services.
