Heekyung Lee

Dr. Heekyung Lee is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor who received Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Counselor Education at Michigan State University. Prior to joining CARE programs at SIUC, Dr. Lee taught both undergraduate and graduate students who are in rehabilitation sciences and counseling programs in the University of Texas at El Paso, California State University – Sacramento and San Bernardino. Dr. Lee’s research interests are emotion regulation and quality of life for both individuals with and without disabilities. Dr. Lee’s emotion regulation intervention (SIERA) has been replicated internationally for various populations.
