Sujung Cho

Dr. Cho joined the SIU faculty in the Fall of 2017, after serving as an assistant professor at Delta State University (2015-2017) and working as a police officer in South Korea (2000-2008). She completed her Ph.D. in Criminal Justice at the University of Cincinnati in 2015.

Her primary research interest includes juvenile delinquency, youth victimization, and quantitative research in cross cultural settings. She is currently working on projects that examine how strainful social dynamics and negative emotionality influence youth’s suicidal attempts and thoughts via latent class and latent growth.
